Crude & cold-pressed avocado oil

Our upstream unit takes locally sourced avocado and extracts premium oil in commercial volumes. Three grades, sold to three different kinds of buyer.

Our model

Milele Agritech's closed-loop value addition model.

Milele Agritech is developing a closed-loop avocado value chain designed to maximise the value of every avocado while minimising waste. Locally sourced fruit, including produce unsuitable for the fresh export market, is processed into crude and cold-pressed avocado oil.

Through Milele Oils, the oil serves culinary, cosmetic and industrial markets, while Avocare transforms it into higher-value cosmetics and personal-care products.

The model also seeks to utilise avocado processing by-products such as skins, seeds, pomace and wastewater, converting potential waste into useful products, inputs or energy.

Ultimately, Milele's closed-loop approach aims to retain more value within Kenya, reduce waste, create additional revenue streams, support farmers, and strengthen local processing and manufacturing by extracting maximum economic value from the avocado.

By-products

Processing and utilisation of avocado by-products.

Milele Agritech Limited applies an integrated, circular approach to avocado by-product management, ensuring that materials such as peels, seeds, pulp residues and wastewater are not simply treated as waste but are directed towards further value addition.

Separated at source

The company collects and separates by-products at source and, where appropriate, works with external value-addition partners who undertake secondary processing of these materials.

Converted, not discarded

These partners convert what would traditionally be considered waste into useful products and resources, including agricultural inputs, animal feed, compost, bio-based materials and potential bioenergy.

Through this collaborative model, each processing stream is directed towards its most appropriate application, creating additional economic opportunities while reducing waste and environmental impact.

This approach strengthens Milele's closed-loop processing model, maximising the value extracted from each avocado, supporting innovation and enterprise development across the value chain, and contributing to a more sustainable and resource-efficient Kenyan avocado industry.

Recycling partners

Who takes the streams we cannot use.

Skins, stones, pomace and process water leave the site under agreement with specialist recyclers — not with a disposal contractor. Each of these partners turns one of those streams into feed, fertiliser or energy.

The route is the same for a drum of crude oil, a private label run or forty cases of hand wash.

Step 01

Tell us what you need

A call or the enquiry form. Product, grade, volume, format and the date you need it by is enough to start.

Step 02

Sample and quote

We send a sample and a written quotation, usually within one working day of the enquiry.

Step 03

Slot confirmed

A production date goes on the line calendar. For farmers, a delivery window is agreed at intake.

Step 04

Delivery and paperwork

Goods released with batch documentation. Farmer payments settled by M-Pesa or bank transfer.
